The Brownsville-Haywood County Chamber of Commerce receives funding from its member base and from the city and county. It is governed by a board of directors who serve on a volunteer basis. The board meets monthly.
To unite, guide, support and speak for business, industry, agriculture and quality of life issues of the people of Haywood County by sponsoring programs and activities which stimulate economic growth, promote civic pride and encourage community involvement.
Renee Moss
Renee is a native of McNairy County and began her role as Executive Director on July 2, 2012. Before moving to Brownsville, she was the curator at the Buford Pusser Home and Museum in Adamsville, Tennessee. Renee served on the McNairy County Chamber Board, Executive Board of the Tourism Association of Southwest Tennessee, Adamsville Partnership Secretary and an official Miss Tennessee pageant judge. She is a Certified Tennessee Tourism Professional and is a graduate of McNairy County Adult Leadership 2010. She has two daughters, Dianna and Tonya Moss.

Marty Williams
Marty has been the Brownsville-Haywood County Chamber Administrative Assistant since 2010. She has been a resident of Brownsville for 30 years and serves as a huge advocate for her community. She has participated in, served on and headed up many different boards, such as, Chamber Ambassadors, Brownsville-Haywood County Arts Council, Brownsville Homecoming, Brownsville Exchange Club, Haywood County Library Board, Carl Perkins Advocacy Center Board, Christmas at College Hill and a Brownie/Girl Scout Leader. She taught Angel Choir (4 & 5 yr olds) at the First United Methodist Church for 14 years, plays hand bells, and has been in the choir for 28 years. Marty has 4 children and 2 grandchildren and has been married to Jim Williams for 32 years. |
